Hi, I’m Linda

Welcome to my blog, Love, Linda Jo. You’ll find stories of our life on the mission field, resources for pastors, & some life lessons I’ve learned along the way.

Familiarity

“Familiarity breeds contempt”

-Quote from the military

Commanders at military bases usually post their leaders about every two years to new assignments, thinking their leadership is lessened after people became familiar with them.

The opposite should be true in Christ’s kingdom for assignments and leadership. Familiarity with Christ, a strong relationship with Him, and truth of His word breeds:

Contentment

Calmness

Hope

Strength

Unity of believers

Wise, effective leadership

There is such a great need for leaders in the kingdom to be people of character, leading our homes and our nation. People of God, search your hearts about where you are to be as an influencer and leader and go forward in Christ’s strength in 2024. This is my prayer for myself and my family, as well.
